Kevin Blechdom Acapella

For a month or so Kevin Blechdom has been uploading acapella videos onto her YouTube channel. In these clips she  interprets songs using her voice only, multi-tracking herself to emulate every original component of the arrangement, from the lead vocal down to the most intricate of percussive parts. The results are pretty much marvelous. Currently these are six such videos on her page, including interpretations of Tim Buckley’s Song To The Siren and most recently, a stunning  rendition of So Emotional by Whitney Houston. The most impressive, in my opinion, is her version of Ennio Morricone’s Run Man Run, theme from the 1968 film of the same name. I must have watched it at least 50 times since it was uploaded. You should too.
